Free because it can be.
MyHue is built on Cloudflare, which is why running it costs about as much as a coffee a month. Here are the real numbers, so you know the free tier isn't a trial in disguise.
Our free-tier pledge
Nothing that's free on MyHue today will ever be moved behind a paywall. We may add new paid extras, but a feature you use for free stays free, for as long as MyHue exists.
Made on 24 October 2026.
What this actually costs us
As long as five people buy the Gold lifetime tier each year, we make a profit. It's a win win.

Built on Cloudflare
Bandwidth is the reason this works. Cloudflare R2 charges nothing for egress, so serving your video background costs us the same as serving nothing at all. That's the entire trick: no catch, and no growth-stage rug pull waiting for you.
What we charge for
Badges, storage and extras like more pages and shorter names: the things that cost us money or are scarce. Never how your page looks. No credit card. No subscription. Free forever.
